Description

The Recreation Committee plans recreational activities for Township residents.  Children's programs include both summer and winter programs.  Adult oriented activities include winter volleyball and basketball.  New members are needed for this important committee.  The township has several areas of open space designated as public recreation parks.  The New Hanover Community Park, was made on 12 acres acquired in 1992, and has a baseball field, disc golf, a playground, and basketball courts.
