As of January 1, 2007, the Township no longer has a "Designated Hauler Program" .

All residents are required, by Ordinance,  to contract with a hauler licensed to provide service within the Township borders.  Currently, there are five haulers licensed to provide service.  Haulers are offering a choice of two services:  Option #1 is for unlimited amounts of trash to be collected  weekly after being deposited at the curbside, in an enclosed container,  the night before collection is scheduled.  Option #2 provides a service to those having low volumes of trash and for weekly collection of recyclables.  Under the program for unlimited amounts of trash, bulk item collection is included at the discretion of the hauler.  Typically under the low volume  programs, bulk items are collected for an additional charge to be set by the hauler.  All fees are set by the hauler, any missed pick-ups should be reported to the hauler.  Any trash hauler operating in violation of Township Ordinances should be reported to the Township office.
