New Hanover Township is a semi-rural residential community located east of Pottstown in Western Montgomery County. The Township has experienced a 48% increase in population in the past ten years, and is the 38th fastest growing township out of 2,500 townships in the Commonwealth. The population at the time of the census was 10,939.
