Gambone Park Dedication
The Windlestrae Athletic Field, located at 132 Chalet Road, was recently renamed in the memory of Anthony "Tony" Gambone. The Gambone family was presented a model of the sign proposed to be posted at the park at the Board of Supervisors meeting on July 12, 2010.
BURN BAN - TEMPORARY DUE TO EMERGENCY FIRE CONDITIONS
Burn ban remains in effect for not more than 30 days form July 12, 2010 and prohibits outdoor burning in burn barrels, fire rings or on the ground. Ordinance adopted July 12, 2010 provides for fines for non-compliance of the restriction.

Compost Site
Yard wastes including tree branches measuring up to 4 inches in diameter may be deposited at the township's compost park which is open for drop- offs Saturday's and Monday's from 8am to 12pm. Chipped materials at the park are available for self-serve to Township residents.

Road Closure - Spring 2010
PennDOT will be performing bridge maintenance on the bridge over Minister Creek on New Hanover Square Road just South of Swamp Picnic Road. A detour route has been posted in the Township office and is expected to be necessary for 4 months beginning Spring 2010.

Child Safety Seat Technician
Officer Dekkar Dyas is certified to evaluate the appropriate child safety seat for your child as determined by the child’s weight and inspect the child seat to determine proper installation in the vehicle. Inspections are conducted on an appointment basis which can be scheduled by calling 610-327-1150.
