Stormwater Best Management Practice (BMP) Inspection Program

Stormwater BMPs are methods, measures, or practices used to prevent or reduce surface runoff and/or water pollution and include, structural and nonstructural BMPs and operation and maintenance procedures.  Structural BMPs include constructed facilities like detention basins; non-structural BMPs include protection of open spaces like riparian buffer areas.   If you are the person designated as the responsible-party for operation and maintenance, you must ensure that the BMPs continue to function properly and follow the maintenance schedule provided by the developer and recorded with your deed.  Click here for more information on your BMP/s.
