Planning Commission Meeting - December 10 beginning at 6:30 pm 

CANCELLED - Family Fitness Night - Recreation Center, 2373 Hoffmansville Road, Frederick - Friday, November 21st - 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm.  Fresh Start Fitness will host a Fitness Concert which will include live music and a choreographed workout.  Fun for guests 5 years and up!  After the workout healthy snacks will be provided.  Sign-up at the Township building!  

NHT Holiday Home Decorating Contest - Participation is open to all residents living within the boundaries of the Township.  Homes will be judged on exterior decorations only.  Judging criteria will include design, creativity, theme and overall presentation.  Three prizes will be awarded.  1st prize - $100   2nd prize - $75   3rd prize - $50  Entry forms are available at the Township building.

NHT Holiday with Santa - Recreation Center - Saturday, December 13th - 1 pm to 2:30 pm.  Santa, Cookies, Hot Chocolate, Crafts, Carols, and Story Time!  We will also be announcing the winners of the Home Decorating Contest.  Come out and join us to visit with Santa!

Montgomery County Electronics and Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events have been scheduled - this year's programs have been expanded to include paper shredding, tire collection, rain barrel and compost bin sales. Please visit for dates and details.

Volunteer Opportunities - one vacancy on the Environmental Advisory Board which meets quarterly. One vacancy on the Recreation Committee which meets on the 1st Monday of the month.  Contact the Twp. office if interested in learning more about this position.  610 323-1008.

Yard Waste Composting hours - Drop-off site at Hetrick Gardens, 2620 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA  by appointment only November l7, 2014 until March l, 2015.   Residents must register at office each time they drop off. Non-residents and contractors may also drop off yard waste for a fee. 

Emergency Planning - If you would like a pamphlet:  Important Safety Information For Your Community and Annual Special Needs Survey 2014/2015, contact the Township; and we will be happy to send you a copy.  The guide will explain how to prepare and what to do in an emergency situation.  

SHOULD THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING BE CLOSED - if you need to speak with someone immediately regarding a Township safety issue, please call the Police Department at (610)327-1150. Thank you!
