YOGA at the Recreation Center - Monday nights in April from 7 pm to 8 pm.  $5.00 walk-ins

ZUMBA at the Recreation Center - Thursday nights from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  $6.00 walk-ins

NHT Summer Camp Program at Hickory Park - Summer camp again will be offered by the Township and run by the YMCA. There will be two 3 week sessions: June 15 thru July 2& July 6 thru July 24. This is a half day program that runs from 9 am till noon, Monday thru Friday. The cost of one session will be $60 dollars; and if you sign up for both sessions at the same time, the cost will be $115 per child.  No refunds will be given.  Program sign-up at the Recreation Center only.

Swimming Lessons at Hickory Park Pool - Children ages 5 and up.  Level 1 - Orientation to aquatic environment; create a sound foundation for aquatic and safety skills; increase water comfort level; and introduce face submersion.  Level 2 - Increase swimming skill competency; introduction to advanced strokes; practice safety and rescue skills.  Session Dates:  July 20 - July 30  or August 3 - August 13  Monday thru Thursday  Time:  Level 1 - 11:00 to 11:45 am   Level 2 - 10:00 to 10:45 am  Fee:  $40 pool member   $50 non-pool member   (Price is per two week session)  No refunds will be given.  Program sign-ups at the Recreation Center starting April 1st.

*Public Works 2015* - We would like to welcome our new Public Works Director, Dennis Flynn.  Dennis has been with our township since November and has been practicing in his field for 18+ years.  Dennis, our entire Public Works Department and a contractor will be sweeping and cleaning our roads on April 20th and 21st.  Please try to have all vehicles off the streets on those days to help with their efforts.  Also, be on the lookout for ditching, tree trimming, road-side mowing, road-side weed control, and paving to occur in the spring and summer months.  Drive safely and enjoy the improvements that will be coming our way this year!

Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events - 2015 events and schedules for Household Hazardous Waste, Tire Collection, and Paper Shredding have been posted. There has NOT been an Electronics Collection Program scheduled for New Hanover Township this year. Please visit MontgomeryCountyRecycles.org for details.

Yard Waste Composting hours - Drop-off site at Hetrick Gardens, 2620 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA -  9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Saturday.  Residents must register at office each time they drop off. Non-residents and contractors may also drop off yard waste for a fee. 

Emergency Planning - If you would like a pamphlet:  Important Safety Information For Your Community and Annual Special Needs Survey 2014/2015, contact the Township; and we will be happy to send you a copy.  The guide will explain how to prepare and what to do in an emergency situation.
